Shrimp Linguine Pasta with Mushrooms & Spinach Red Sauce

Step 1

Fill pot with water and highly salt it. Once water is boiling add 2 tbps of oilve oil and pour linguini to cook. Boil the pasta until it has become al dente.

Step 2

Meanwhile your pasta is cooking lets get chopping! Mince your garlic and onion into small pieces & set aside. Dice your mushrooms & set aside.

Step 3

Check your pasta & taste a strand to see if pasta is al dente if so turn heat off if not keep allowing the pasta to cook.

Step 4

Make sure your shrimps are pealed and deveined. Once this processes is done make sure you rinse the shrimp so they are throughly washed and cleaned. Use a large deep pan and place at medium heat. Add 3 tbps of butter and 4 tbps of olive. Once you hear a sizzle add shrimp to cook. Once shrimp had been added into pan now add garlic powder. Stir shrimps until cooked. Make sure to only cook the shrimp until they become a pinkish color that way they don’t overcook.

Step 5

Remove Shrimp from the pan. Check your pasta and turn heat off. Save 1 cup of the pasta water then drain the rest of the pasta.

Step 6

Using the same pan you cooked the shrimp add garlic, onions, the rest of the butter, mushrooms, and spinach. Mix everything together until spinach has wilted and mushrooms are semi cooked.

Step 7

Add the cans of tomato sauces and paste and combine everything together. Add the dried oregano, chili flakes, pasta water, and bay leaves. Stir everything together. Set everything to a boil.

Step 8

Once everything has come to a boil remove the bay leaves from the sauce. Put shrimp back into the pan. Then add pasta.

Step 9

Serve pasta and enjoy! :)
