Throughout my adult life, I’ve never been completely satisfied with my wardrobe. I always felt like there was something missing, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it.
Naturally, as I grew older, my style evolved, and so did my relationship with clothes. I’ve finally found the missing piece, and it’s not the capsule wardrobe, the three-words method, or the color theory. Don’t get me wrong, none of those are bad ideas, and I actually believe in the power of each one. For me, what was missing was the feeling associated with what I wore.
Like many women, and perhaps men as well :), I used to spend hours going through my closet, put together the outfit, get dressed, look at the mirror, and feel kind of underwhelmed and exhausted. This in turn reflected on my mood and my level of confidence throughout the day.
I wanted to change that. And I knew I could do better with what I have in my closet.
I started thinking, If my closet was a store, and I was a customer, what would a great customer experience look like?
